Thirteen

The concrete shines,
It is diamonds.
Do you see him there?
Fallen angel
Behold his crimson halo.
He sees
And his eyes, they fill with rain,
Like tears.
You, standing there
Made of glass and stone
See him smiling at you,
And break.

Headline: Penis-eating plant discovered in Iowa. Go Figure.

Well for a first post I thought I should grab your attention as tightly as dominatrix leather on your nuts. The headline is not true as far as I know, but it seems possible. Especially in Iowa. Anyway, I will try to keep the rest of the posts a little more serious, but don’t worry, I often try to be funny. Maybe one or two jokes will slip by. I’ll try to update this at least weekly with poems/songs of mine or others, rants, pictures, or just general thoughts about things. So I hope you enjoy at least something out of this thing and maybe someday we can meet up, split a fifth of Jack Daniel’s, and find peace together.
